Snails have teeth but not like humans or mammals
If you ever heard the scraping sound snails make when they eat, you must already guessed snails indeed have teeth. However, snails' teeth are not like humans' or mammals'. Their teeth are on their "tongues", used for grinding or scraping food. "Tongues" on mollusks like snails are also called "radulas".
Snails have thousands of "teeth"
Snails can have hundreds to thousands tiny insane teeth! The number of teeth a snail has depends on the type of snail, but the average snail has over 1,000 teeth. Some species even can have over 10,000 teeth!

So, can snails bite me with their teeth?
Don't worry. Snails can't hurt you. If you put your finger on a snail's mouth, you probably will just have a very gentle scraping or sucking feeling. Unless you let it rasp at one spot for a long time, or at a wound it should not cause harm. It probably just wants to check whether your you are food. :P
